Holy shit. One Missed Call (OMC) is super nice.
Oh no, I just told a lie.
It was a failed re-write of the original 2003 Takashi Miike version of OMC. What's with the starting where a woman was complaining about her getting some prank calls and later, a hand came out of the river and dragged her in. The joke was, the hand came out again and dragged her cat in. The question is, did the cat have a handphone too?
Anyway soon we realize that people are getting calls from people who have already died. Their handphone gives an ominous sounding ring to let them know "death is knocking". They check the "1 Missed Call" and it is themselves the moment before they die. All of which are executed in a lazy Final Destination kind of way. Yes, in this movie you'll be sitting there thinking, "This reminds me of The Ring. That reminds me of Final Destination. Now it reminds me of The Grudge. Oh, look, now we're heading into Dead Silence territory."
They are just a bit of everything!
Now I will know why is it rated PG-13 because it utterly just lacks of horror. It was not even scary throughout the whole movie! This movie would be kept alive for people who can't take horror films.
Ending sucks and I still don't know what is going on.
And lastly, I rated this movie 1/5. Not saying it's the worse of 2008, who knows, there may be others along the way.

Now, let's move to Cloverfield the movie.
I came home, went msn and took a glispme of the advertisement and I saw, 'from the co-creator fro LOST'. Yea, I went crazy after that and Yes. Cloverfield producer was a co-creator of LOST, J.J. Abrams.
No wonder their trailers are almost a replica of LOST trailers genre. Cloverfield even have a fan-club , everyone is making speculations of what's happening in the movie and what's the monster. Just like LOST... how nice! I just want to say, LOST, you did it again! Producers can be such arseholes but, I still love them. And please, do not disappoint me, Cloverfield.
Right now, Cloverfield is in my to-watch-list.

Back to me now. So, what have I been doing?
Watching movies everyday in office, be it old ones or the newest ones.
It's picture time! Just one only.

Some guy posted this on a web and claimed that this is the Cloverfield monster. Is it?
Speculations are that Cloverfield monster is a water monster.
